Jesse Sergent Wins Tour of Gila Time Trial

Jesse Sergent won the 26.6 Km stage three time trial at the Tour of Gila today. Jesse put down a time of 34 min. 9 sec. to win the stage over Mellow Johnny’s Levi Leipheimer and David Zabriskie of DZ Nuts. Jesse put in an incredibly strong effort today and the entire team is elated on the win. Jesse is sure to move up in the overall GC going into tomorrow’s Stage four criterium, which always prove exciting for the fans.

The Team

Welcome to the Trek-LIVESTRONG Development Team. Created as a project to help develop the next generation of great young cyclists, the Trek-LIVESTRONG Team features top up and coming talent, including national champion and US Olympian Taylor Phinney and leadership from ten time Tour de France rider Axel Merckx, son of the great Belgian Eddie Merckx.
