I rowed on the water in high school and I started riding to training on an old mountain bike for a bit of extra training

I rocked up to a club c grade crit and lapped the field.

Racing through the snow and sleet in the Tour of Southland

What makes you most excited about riding for the Trek LIVESTRONG team?
Living in Boulder, Coloradio for the season!

What is your favorite place to ride?
The Utah Mountains.

Making the LIVESTRONG squad.

The Team

Welcome to the Trek-LIVESTRONG pro-continental cycling team, designed specifically for Under-23 riders. Created by Lance Armstrong as a project to develop the next generation of elite cyclists in 2009, the team continues to feature up-and coming-talent from around the world, including junior world record holder Dale Parker (AUS) and national champions Nathan Brown (USA) and Michael Vink (NZL). Under the leadership of ten-time Tour de France veteran Axel Merckx, son of the great Belgian Eddie Merckx, the team has developed nine riders to the WorldTour level to date including five-time world champion Taylor Phinney, former American champion Ben King and British national time trial champion Alex Dowsett. In an effort to support the team founder, Trek-LIVESTRONG will proudly ride under the LIVESTRONG banner, joining the Lance Armstrong Foundation in their global fight against cancer.
