ABOUT CODY…

What is your favorite memory or experience on the bike?
I did my first 6-day track race in Burnaby, BC when I was 16. I was thrown into the Elite category with a bunch of pros that I would watch at every race and I really looked up to them.  It was one of the hardest weeks of my life but being in the bunch with those guys was definitely a highlight and they taught me a lot about racing my bike in a very short time.

What accomplishment or career achievement are you most proud of?
I am most proud of winning the 2008 Canadian Jr. Time Trial Championships. It was a close race and is for sure my biggest win so far.

What is your favorite place to ride?
So far it’s a toss up between Switzerland and Santa Rosa, California. Switzerland is amazing because of all the huge climbs but you’re pretty hard pressed to find a flat road. Santa Rosa is a bit more diverse but it doesn’t have all of the prestige that the Alps do.
