ABOUT IGGY…
How did you get started in bicycle racing?
When I was 8 years old my dad took me to the San Diego Velodrome to try it out because it looked fun.
Tell us about your first race.
I honestly can’t remember my first bike race but my first race memory is when I was 9 and I was state champion on the track in the 10-12 age group.
What is your favorite memory or experience on the bike?
Doing my first race as a jr. in Europe. It was really a big culture shock in the way the Belgians raced compared to what I had been used to.
What makes you most excited about riding for the Trek LIVESTRONG team?
I feel that Trek LIVESTRONG has a good program that is made to send riders to the next level.
What is your favorite place to ride?
Italy, hands down. The weather, the roads, and the sights just make it an awesome place all around.
What accomplishment or career achievement are you most proud of?
I am most proud of winning the Elite National Madison Championship this year.
